We understand that time is a valuable resource, which is why we prioritize accessibility and efficiency in our services. Our clinic is dedicated to offering timely appointments for essential services, including gynecological cancer screenings, contraception consultations, and STD screenings. We strive to create a supportive and respectful environment, ensuring that every patient receives personalized care and attention for their health and wellness.

Our Services

  • A yearly gynecological exam typically includes several key components aimed at assessing a woman's reproductive health. What sets Quick Gyno apart is that we also assess skeletal muscle mass which is known to be the greatest mortality predictor. We also have an integrative approach by discussing nutrition and supplementation. Here’s what you can generally expect during your appointment:

    1. Medical History Review: The healthcare provider will ask about your medical history, including any past gynecological issues, surgeries, medications, supplements, and family history.

    2. Physical Examination: This usually involves a general physical exam and a pelvic exam. The pelvic exam may include checking the external genitalia, vagina, cervix, uterus, and ovaries.

    3. Pap Smear: If you are due for it, a Pap smear may be performed to screen for cervical cancer. This test involves collecting cells from the cervix.

    4. Breast Examination: The healthcare provider may perform a clinical breast exam to check for any lumps or unusual changes. Important to note, we will also be doing a breast cancer risk assessment and genetic counseling may be recommended.

    5. Discussion of Contraception and Sexual Health: You’ll have the opportunity to discuss contraception options, sexual health, and any concerns you may have.

    6. Screening Tests: Depending on your age and risk factors, additional tests may be recommended, such as sexually transmitted infection (STI) screenings.

    7. Vaccinations: You may also discuss any necessary vaccinations, such as the HPV vaccine, if you haven't received it yet.

    8. Questions and Concerns: The appointment is a good time to ask any questions or share concerns about your reproductive health.

It’s important to communicate openly with your healthcare provider to ensure you receive the best care tailored to your individual needs.

  • At Quick Gyno, we offer a comprehensive range of birth control options to meet the diverse needs of our patients. Each method varies in effectiveness, usage, and side effects. Here’s an overview of the available options:

    Hormonal Methods:

Pills: Oral contraceptives taken daily to prevent ovulation.

Patch: A transdermal patch worn on the skin that releases hormones.

Vaginal Ring: A flexible ring placed in the vagina, releasing hormones over a month.

Injectable: A hormone shot given every three months.

    _____________________

    Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARCs):

Intrauterine Devices (IUDs): T-shaped devices inserted into the uterus, available in hormonal (e.g., Mirena) and copper (e.g., Paragard) options, providing protection for several years.

Implants: A small rod placed under the skin of the arm that releases hormones for up to three years.

    _____________________

    Barrier Methods:

Condoms: Male and female condoms provide a barrier to prevent sperm from reaching the egg and also protect against STIs.

    _____________________

Fertility Awareness: Tracking ovulation and menstrual cycles to avoid intercourse during fertile periods.

    _____________________

    Emergency Contraception:

Pills: Options like Plan B or Ella can be taken after unprotected intercourse to prevent pregnancy.

Copper IUD: Can also be used as emergency contraception when inserted within five days after unprotected sex.

Each method has its benefits and potential side effects. We encourage you to schedule a consultation to discuss your individual needs and preferences to find the best birth control option for you.

  • At Quick Gyno, we provide comprehensive evaluations for urinary tract infections (UTIs) to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. If you suspect you have a UTI or are experiencing symptoms such as frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, cloudy urine, or lower abdominal pain, we encourage you to schedule an appointment.

    EVALUATION PROCESS

Medical History Review: During your visit, our healthcare provider will review your medical history, including any previous UTIs, current medications, and any underlying health conditions that may affect your urinary health.

Symptom Assessment: You will be asked about your symptoms, including their duration, severity, and any associated factors, such as recent sexual activity or use of certain products.

Physical Examination: A physical examination may be conducted to assess any discomfort and evaluate your overall health.

Urine Test: A urine sample will be collected for laboratory analysis. This test helps identify the presence of bacteria, white blood cells, or other indicators of infection.

Additional Tests: Depending on the findings, further tests may be recommended, such as a urine culture to determine the specific bacteria causing the infection or imaging studies if recurrent infections occur.

Treatment Plan: Based on the evaluation results, your healthcare provider will discuss appropriate treatment options, which may include antibiotics and recommendations for preventive measures.

Our goal is to provide you with timely and effective care to alleviate your symptoms and prevent future infections. If you have any questions or concerns about UTIs, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office.

  • At Quick Gyno, we understand that vaginal symptoms can be concerning and may vary widely among individuals. It’s important to recognize the different types of symptoms and their potential causes:

    Itching or Irritation
Causes: This may be due to yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), allergies to products (such as soaps or detergents), or hormonal changes.

    Discharge Changes
Causes: Variations in vaginal discharge, such as increased volume, color changes (e.g., yellow, green, or gray), or changes in consistency, can be linked to infections (e.g., yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, STIs) or hormonal fluctuations.

    Unpleasant Odor
Causes: A strong or unusual odor may indicate an infection, particularly bacterial vaginosis or an STI. Hormonal changes or retained foreign objects (like tampons) can also contribute.

    Pain or Discomfort
Causes: Pain during intercourse (dyspareunia) or general vaginal discomfort can stem from infections, hormonal imbalances, dryness, or conditions like vulvodynia or endometriosis.

    Swelling or Redness
Causes: Inflammation or swelling of the vaginal area can result from infections, allergic reactions, or irritants.

    Bleeding
Causes: Unexplained vaginal bleeding outside of regular menstrual periods can be caused by hormonal imbalances, fibroids, polyps, or infections. It may also indicate more serious conditions, so prompt evaluation is important.

    Burning Sensation
Causes: A burning feeling during urination or intercourse can be related to infections, irritation from products, or urinary tract infections (UTIs).

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with our experienced team. Early evaluation and appropriate treatment can help address your concerns and maintain your vaginal health.
